Office of the Clerk-Treasurer
A Message from the Clerk-Treasurer
To the citizens of the Town of Huntertown, my staff and myself have been
fortunate to have our community entrust our office with the financial aspects of
our town.
The town residents elect the Clerk-Treasurer’s Office position every four years
and law specifically defines the duties of the Clerk-Treasurer.
The primary function of the Clerk-Treasurer position is to serve as the fiscal
officer of the Town monies. The Clerk-Treasurer processes the receipts and
expenditures of all Town money. The Clerk-Treasurer is also responsible for
utility billing of water, sewer and trash, accounts payable, accounts
receivable, payroll, voter registration, investments, preparation of the budget
and keeper of the town seal.
The Clerk-Treasurer serves as Secretary to the Town Council by attending
meetings, preparing agendas, and recording proceedings.
On behalf of my staff, and myself I would like to thank you for the opportunity
to serve you.
Robin R. Riley, IAMC, CMC
Clerk-Treasurer
