It is our privilege to welcome you to the website of Huntertown,
Indiana. This is your link to your local town government.
Every four years, residents in Huntertown elect a five-member
Town Council and a Clerk-Treasurer. All council members are
considered “at large” which means all Huntertown residents
(registered voters) vote on all council positions. The Town Council
elects a President each year. The Town Council holds the
legislative and executive powers for the Town, and the Clerk-Treasurer is responsible for the matters related to the Town’s

Huntertown is one of the fastest growing areas in the northeast
part of the State of Indiana. Our town continues to grow and attract
Our town council has been challenged with many projects for our
community. Currently we are are in the final stages of building a
new Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Town Council meetings are scheduled for the first and third
Monday of each month. The first Monday, the meeting begins at 6:00
p.m. and entertains Public Comments on the agenda at the beginning
of the meeting. The third Monday, a Business meeting is held at 6:00
p.m. All meetings are held at the town hall building.
The Utility Service Board meetings are scheduled for the first
Monday of each month at 5:00 p.m.
The Town Council is very excited about our website and
bringing to the community, information about local services and
opportunities for you to learn about your local government.

public during normal business hours (8:30 am. to 4:30 pm.).
Public Meetings Notice:
Meetings of the
Huntertown Town Council and Utility Service Board are once again
being held at Town Hall. Meetings will no longer be held using
the Zoom platform.

prepared 2 short videos to aid in recycling (link).
Clean Dry Kickoff and
The Allen County Dept. of Environmental Management will launch a
weekly Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) drop-off program at their
refurbished facility located at 2260 Carrol Road. The HHW drop-off
will be open every Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. More
