Lima Road Closure extended

The closure on Old Lima Road - from Woods Road to just south of Riverside Manufacturing (at the green walk-bridge) - has been extended through September 30, 2025. 

The closure will continue to be a full closure, with no through traffic allowed. The sidewalk will also be closed. Please see below for a map of the closure, and for a detour route.

The Woods Road intersection will be open to traffic traveling south on Old Lima. Additionally, Woods Rd traffic will also be able to turn north only as the road closure begins just south of the intersection. 

Drivers are asked to utilize W. Cedar Canyons Road as a detour route in order to leave Gump Road as clear as possible for school related traffic. 

This closure has been extended due to poor soil conditions at the worksite and safety concerns for the construction crew.

We understand that this closure coincides with the start of the NACS school year, as well as construction on State Road 3. Please know that Huntertown and the Allen Co. Surveyor's Office have been working diligently to find a traffic pattern that is safe for everyone involved, and allows traffic to flow as freely as possible. Please give yourself extra time in the morning, and drive slowly and safely.
